How long have you worked at the Chicago Cat Clinic?
Previously for 2 years, returned from living out of state in September 2017
What made you want to work with Cats?
It seemed like a unique challenge – so many people are intimidated by cats in a veterinary setting. It intrigued me to be able to learn more about feline behavior and medicine.
What do you love most about working at a Cat Only clinic?
I love that we are able to give our feline patients the specialized care that they deserve since many small animal clinics are more focused on dogs and don’t understand the unique needs of cats.
What is the one thing you have learned about Cats that surprises you?
How physiologically different they are from dogs, and how resilient they can be when dealing with chronic diseases and repeated treatments.
Do you have pets at home?
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats – Venus: 16 y/o gray tabby; Benji: 9 y/o schnauzer; Simon: geriatric Chihuahua; and Jasper: 1.5 y/o brown/gray tabby with 3 legs.
What do you like to do for fun?
Cooking, baking, reading, drawing, playing video games, hiking, biking, swimming, and exploring.
